BRYAN JOSEPH ( or “Bryan J.” as he’s known locally ) has been leading tours for almost a decade with Newport Ghost Tours. In addition to being a local and regional history expert, he has been interested in paranormal phenomenon since he was a teenager, when he had a personal paranormal experience, prompting him into further study into the realm of the unknown.
-
Bryan was born and raised in the Fall River, MA area ( the land of Lizzie Borden ) before moving to Cape Cod, where he lived for 25 years. He has been a resident of Newport for the past 5 years and has been fascinated by the long, storied history of the area, frequently giving Maritime and Colonial History guided tours throughout town and is never at a loss for fascinating historical facts.
Bryan is an active member of several area paranormal research groups including RIPRS and CIPRS and has taken part in several active paranormal investigations. He is considered to be an expert in audio, video and photographic analysis in the field of paranormal research and can assist in the interpretation of photographic anomalies guests may experience on the tour.
Bryan adds a strong historical reference to the tour, as well as a balanced scientific approach, which leads the guest to form their own opinions about paranormal activity and the existence of ghosts while offering a few entertaining moments that won’t be soon forgotten.
When Tori McNally is not sharing Newport’s long illustrious history in the American Revolution, its tales of pirates and the City By The Sea’s rich paranormal history for Ghost Tours of Newport, Tori is a Tarot Reader, Physical Medium, Reiki Master, Empath, Certified Hypno-Therapist, Teacher, and Table Tipper here in the Rhode Island and Southern New England area.

able tipping; or “table tilting” was made popular in the Victorian Age throughout Europe and the U.S. as a form of physical mediumship seance. It is a lost art that fell out of favor as the Spiritualist Movement was heavily scrutinized by the likes of Harry Houdini and others. Recently Table Tipping has experienced a resurgence to bring it back as a legitimate form of physical mediumship.
Tori started training in Tarot at age 12, and has been tipping since 2009 to help people ease their grief and forward messages of love and light from their loved ones, guides and Ascended Masters. She offers in-person and phone tarot readings and is available for in-person Past-Life regression, relaxation, stop smoking, and weight loss hypnosis. Tori also offers Tarot parties as well as group and private table tipping seances. For more information, please visit WWW.AvalonEnchanted.Com.
Sharon comes to the tour guide experience with a love of history and a 35 year background of theater experience. An unexpected joy in the midst of the Covid season was being able to be a Ghost “hostess”. It is a privilege and honor to be able to tell the stories of our local ghosts, many of whom contributed to the building of the America we now enjoy.

Are you ready for true tales of the unexplainable, the mysterious, the world beyond what we see? Sharon is ready to tell them….and hopefully help you have your very own ghost story!
Reviews on TripAdvisor from tours led by Sharon:
“Highly recommend! It was one of the best parts of our trip. Our tour guide Sharon was awesome. Cannot wait to go back again.”
Rachel has been leading Ghost Walks since 2010 and is one of our most enthusiastic ghost hosts. Rachel comes from a theatrical background, but certainly now believes strongly in the paranormal. She has the distinction of being one of the few guides who has actually witnessed the full body apparition of “Little Jessica” the mischievous poltergeist who inhabits the Pilgrim House Inn.

A ghost walk with Rachel will not only reveal Newport’s haunted past but will also leave you with an unforgettable evening you and your family won’t soon forget!

Richard has been entertaining audiences since he was 16 years old. Having been born and raised in RI, he eventual started traveling and ultimately performed in 8 countries and 3 different languages! His interest in ghosts started when he discovered a ghost living in his house. (Quite startling for a small child!) Since then, Richard has learned that there is far more to this world and this life than we can see with our own two eyes. He loves leading people on ghost tours. Every tour brings something new and exciting!

Reviews on TripAdvisor from tours led by Richard:
“Richard was an excellent guide! He was engaging, interested (in others), and came across as being larger than life! He kept everyone intrigued through history and ghost ‘sightings’.”
“…we had Richard and not only was he super knowledgeable and engaging during the whole tour, he dressed the part which upped the whole experience”
Morgan Jordan moved back to her home state of RI last February 18’ to finally pursue her dream of making a living doing something she loves, which is the performing arts. When she is not singing and playing music, giving ghost tours, or participating in any other shows/events, she is enjoying the great New England outdoors.

Morgan wrote a book (with the pen name Nate Procrasti) in 2018 about her past college experience, as a way to entertain and inspire, which is a general theme to her life, to make a difference in people’s lives, even if that means entertaining them. Only then is life worth living!
