Carved in Stone is a 90 minute walking tour of the Common Burying Ground, Newport Rhode Island's oldest and largest colonial burying ground.
See interesting grave carvings, discover the final resting place of Newport's famous and infamous souls and journey back to the early days of Newport, where the oldest known graves dates to 1672. The souls of the Common Burying Ground have been waiting to see you, some for 300 years!
Professional Guides lead the tour which departs from Newport's Visitors Center, 23 America's Cup Avenue. Tours last 90 minutes and walk less than a mile.
